The Forms are Flooding In
By Angus Cheng
Let’s see how I did with the goals I set last week.
❌ Use TD63A on AngusForm.com
I still haven’t done this! This really should be pretty simple. I will do this right after posting this blog.
✅ Hire someone to collect manual forms
I hired someone on Upwork.com, and they’re doing a good job. They’ve collected about 250 forms so far. Nice job.
❌ Hire someone to create JsonSchemas and UISchemas for the forms in Goal #2
I created the job ad, but haven’t picked anyone yet. I should just get on with it, but I’m a bit worried they won’t have enough to do. I could just give them the 250 forms collected in the previous step, but I would prefer them to work on the forms that will be most in demand.
Figuring out which forms will be most in demand isn’t simple though.
❌ Create a file format that maps form fields to regions on a PDF
It’s half done, it probably needs about three more hours of work before I can put it into production. This should be done by next week.
✅ Put in more tracking to see where people are dropping off
This is done, whenever a field is filled in I log an analytics event.
✅ Break pricing into two line items
More Forms
Zero people are using AngusForms.com, this is bad. I suspect that supporting more forms will increase the number of users. I’ll set a goal of supporting five more forms this week. The automation I’ve developed should make this easier.
Change Ad Copy
Right now this is the only ad we’re running. An ad on Reddit for TD63A. I reckon a company registry ad will be more compelling. I’ll set a goal to create a company registry form and another goal to create an ad for that form.

- Hire someone to create JsonSchemas and UISchemas for the forms in Goal #2
- Create a file format that maps form fields to regions on a PDF
